Great, just what the world needed – another stupid Apple update that everyone pretends to care about. So now there’s this whole ‘Siri 2.0’ or whatever nonsense they’re calling it. On-device LLM integration. Like, why should I care? Seriously, I can’t wait for Siri to start creepy-stalking my emails and calendar, all in the name of ‘context awareness.’ Yeah, right, because Apple totally respects privacy, just like they respected headphone jacks.

Why is it that every new gadget needs to be tied to some buzzword-laden promise of revolution? What’s so revolutionary about turning your phone into an even more confusing personal assistant? Tracking your life under the guise of being helpful is as old as spam emails. But now it’s ‘privacy-first’? Sure, in a ‘trust us’ kind of way.

Meanwhile, people will throw more money at this whole mess because it’s an iPhone and we can’t break the sacred cycle of buying and upgrading. How delightful that Apple found another way to make us believe we need more than a call and text device in our pocket. It’s a miracle we’ve survived this long without our calendar whispering sweet nothings through our earbuds.

And let’s talk about ‘bringing AI to the mass market.’ It’s like saying they’re bringing soda to a desert but forgetting they already planted vending machines everywhere. Most users won’t even use the new features beyond showing off to friends once and then forgetting they exist.
