bloody fragmented liquidity

So here we go again with this fragmented liquidity nonsense. Oh, fantastic. Just what everyone wanted. Let’s have dozens of Layer 2s like Base, Arb, and Op all tugging at liquidity like toddlers fighting over the last slice of cake. It’s not like anyone enjoys simplicity or anything. Whatever happened to a little coherence? Is it really too much to ask?

Instead, we have a fragmented mess with every chain acting like it’s the next big thing, trying to lure users like desperate bands playing screaming cover songs nobody wants to hear. Ghost chains galore! Chains that promised the world but stayed emptier than my fridge on a Sunday night. They’re going to end up deserted whilst a few ‘winner takes most’ chains laugh all the way to the bank because they spent excessive amounts on some gimmicky app no one actually needs.

An ocean of over-engineered projects claiming they will change the world, but mostly just trying to escape being the next ghost chain doom story during a turbulent period in the space. I’m done.
