So now we’ve got swords that get stronger the more you use them. Like that’s not a disaster waiting to happen in gaming. Imagine your trusty digital sword deciding to hit like a wet noodle just because you’ve not been grinding enough? Typical nonsense dressed as innovation, if you ask me. It’s not a game-changer, it’s just another way to suck hours out of gamers while pretending to offer something groundbreaking. It’s like deciding vegetables taste better because you read it online.
What was wrong with static assets? Why do they need a personality? I mean, it won’t make me floss better because my toothbrush might scold me next time. Honestly, these so-called ‘Smart NFTs’ are as smart as a rock in the ocean. But sure, let’s bridge Web2 and Web3 like those two worlds were just itching for a reunion. How many of these players are really asking for their virtual items to “evolve”? Most of them just want to chill with their games, not take on another job messing with NFT maintenance.
Who knows, maybe I’m missing the point here. Maybe this friend of yours with their glowing sword and evolving pixel pants is living in some futuristic utopia. But for the rest of us landlocked in reality, it’s just more noise in an already loud gaming world. I’m done.
