ugh, another AI thing… really?

So, here we go again with this whole ‘OpenAI GPT-5’ rumor nonsense. People are all worked up thinking about this so-called ‘AGI-lite’ that’s supposedly going to take over the world, or at least replace half the knowledge workers in some dystopian productivity leapfrog. Yeah, right. Do we really need more reasoning improvement and fewer hallucinations? Almost feels like they’re just making this stuff up for kicks. Like, oh wow, what a groundbreaking update, now it won’t spit out random garbage every other sentence. Pathetic.

And as if that’s not enough to twist your brain into knots, everyone’s wondering if it’s going to steal the booming job market out from under us. Industry better brace itself for the next unwelcome shake-up. Got to love how we’re all just expected to adapt while whoever’s doing all this developing conveniently forgets common sense. Meanwhile, workers get to feel like they’re on the chopping block – terrific motivation, right?

Honestly, they should all follow this link and see for themselves the chaos they’re cooking up. Or maybe not, because we’d rather be blindsided by our own creations, wouldn’t we? Whatever.
