so, bitcoin ordinals now?

So, Bitcoin Ordinals are now a thing. Apparently, because Bitcoin wasn’t complicated enough already, let’s add NFTs into the mix. Seriously? We took the world’s most secure network and decided to sprinkle in some good old DeFi nonsense. Who’s bright idea was this? Miners are loving it, though—more fees for doing basically the same amount of work. All they have to do is just grin as they rake in extra bucks. Oh joy.

And don’t even get me started on the people who are all hyped about this. Like, why? Will future historians look back at us and see this as the Renaissance of finance or just another chapter in mankind’s quest for financial absurdity? The hype is unreal, and everyone seems to buy into it as if these so-called innovations will somehow save us all from mediocrity. Check this out, they’re claiming it brings new utility or whatever. Sure, utility, because sticking an NFT onto Bitcoin changes everything. You’re not fooling me.

What’s next? Uber for pets on the blockchain? Delivery services for digital art fragments? Seriously, there are times I think we’ve reached peak innovation, only to be proven wrong by this ridiculous crypto soap opera calling itself progress. I’m done.
