so, ai can teach a kid to dance now?

I just stumbled upon this AI tutorial titled something about dancing kids. Honestly, I couldn’t help but imagine some future where toddlers are plugged into machines to learn their steps. Like, are dance lessons so passé now that we’re throwing AI into the mix?

Anyway, try picturing a kid sporting a capetoad (seriously, who buys those?) trying to hit every beat shown on a holographic screen. I can’t decide if it’s cute or slightly dystopian. I mean, sure, seeing kids nail a dance move that took me light years to learn as a kid is impressive. But then there’s this whole question—do we even need dance instructors anymore? I’ve seen those AI dance demos. The tech’s not messing around, like extraterrestrial-level precise.

And then there’s that strange obsession with these reels. They flood your socials, right? A montage of kids, synchronized as if they’ve been pre-programmed, bouncing around to some catchy tune. All orchestrated by this cold, silicon maestro clicking and humming in the background.

But seriously, how many times have we mechanized something for convenience’s sake? I remember when doing anything tech-related meant laborious reading—now it’s tap this, swipe that. Part of me wonders if we’re heading to a world made of algorithms and rehearsed moves. Like, when’s the last time anyone danced badly and still had fun?

All this buzz and yet, here I am, more confounded than before. Technology, eh? My eyes still hurt. I need coffee. Ugh.
