is free ai voice really a thing? curious minds want to know
I mean, are we really at the point where AI voices are just popping up everywhere for free? The other day, I heard a guy in the cafe talking about some app that promises free AI voice generation. And I couldn’t help but wonder – how much of this stuff actually works? Or is it like those ceramic air fryers everyone bought during lockdown that now sit collecting dust? [INSERT_IMAGE_1]
So, I did a little digging (more like rabbit-hole diving), trying to find out how all of this ties into our good friend, the altcoin world. Maybe it’s the same kind of hype. Remember when everyone was mining altcoins with their mom’s borrowed laptop? (Yeah, right. Mining with a toaster would’ve been more efficient.)
Anyway, back to the AI voice circus. YouTube is full of these so-called “beginner guides”—promising the world and delivering… well… an old-school Nokia ringtone. And yet, people scram to these guides like they’re treasure maps to some buried tech gold. Or all those repackaged Yoda quotes that promise enlightenment. It’s puzzling.

But honestly, if you’re anything like me, after the tenth “free” software you download that asks for your entire life story (aka signup details), you’re probably ready to throw in the towel. Because maintaining sanity in the ‘free software’ universe requires holy grail patience. I’m not even sure any of this stuff is legit without some catch – like having to watch 30-second ‘how great crypto is’ ads before you hit play (ugh, ads). My eyes still hurt. I need coffee. Ugh.
