my brain hurts just thinking about AI
I just stumbled across this title—AI Roadmap for Beginners 🤖—and my first thought was, “Is my brain ready for this? Like, seriously?” So, we all know AI is the big, shiny toy that everyone wants to talk about, but let’s be real: starting as a beginner can feel like trying to read War and Peace in one night.

Anyway, so there’s this supposed roadmap to go ‘Beginner to Pro.’ Right. Sounds cute on paper, but how many times have we started something only to realize halfway through that you’ve gone from ‘Wow, this is fun’ to ‘Great, I am now confused and have a headache’? (I’m looking at you, sourdough starter from 2020.)
In the world of AI, it’s all about algorithms, programming, and some buzzword bingo that includes ‘machine learning’ and ‘neural networks.’ Basically, things that might make your head spin faster than watching a cat chase its tail. But I mean, who doesn’t love a good challenge, right? (Not me. Nope.)
So, what are the steps? Do we just casually wade into this thinking some YouTube videos and a couple of ebooks will turn us into tech wizards? There’s always that person on Reddit saying they became a whiz in a weekend after binge-watching tutorials. I’m just a little skeptical here. Like, who are you kidding, Mr. overnight success?

Oh, and let’s not forget about the endless jargon swamp that drags you in deeper the more you try to understand it. Pseudocode this, hyperparameters that—it’s like they’re just making up words now. Anyway, I’ve seen a weird list of gadgets that claim to help you learn, but I’m wondering—is this another way to waste my hard-earned cash?
I guess at the end of the day, whether this AI roadmap will actually transport us from ‘Beginner’ to ‘Pro’ remains to be seen. Or maybe it’ll just end like some half-baked science fiction plot. My eyes still hurt. I need coffee. Ugh.
